Rooms are in need of some updating in regards to the carpet and wallpaper. Our shower door wouldn't close but it got pretty close. The bathrooms do look updated The morning of check out our floor was soaked by the a/c unit. Everything else in the hotel is nicely done, staff is super friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for a a better experience with checking in

The lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel is very dated and the room had some pretty dirty spots. It looked like someone had washed their makeup off in the curtains. Also, as I was packing up my suitcase to leave, I noticed some nasty on the wall that looked like someone either puked there or spit the biggest loogie there. I gagged. Luckily I was about to checkout. We also had to wait several minutes for an elevator more than once. Great location, though

During my stay at the Crowne Plaza Knoxville, I encountered a significant issue that negatively impacted my comfort. On the last night of my stay, a strong smell of marijuana began seeping into my room from the adjacent room, which was connected by a door. Given the late hour, addressing this with the front desk was not feasible. This incident highlights a need for the hotel to more actively enforce its no-smoking policy, especially in rooms with connecting doors. A possible solution could be better sealing or monitoring of these doors, or ensuring that guests in connected rooms are aware of and adhere strictly to the smoking policy. This would greatly improve the stay for future guests and uphold the standard of hospitality expected at such an establishment.
