A:Yes, the Sunsphere reopened to the public in 2014. Admission is $1 for children under 12 and costs $5 for adults to travel up to the Observation Deck on the 4th level. Visitors enjoy panoramic views of downtown Knoxville, World's Fair Park, the Smoky Mountains, the Tennessee River and the University of Tennessee. The Sunsphere is open from 10am to 5pm Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, all year round.
